I've been using Advantix on Fang and so far, on ticks. Adopting a suspenders & belt approach I was wondering if anyone had a liquid or whatever that I could put on a tick if I found one on our dog that would kill the tick outright.??

Friends of ours are currently staying at the Moonta Bay van park with their dog, as they do every year around this time. They have been informed that in the near future there will be a $5 per night charge for dogs, not sure if this is a money grab or an attempt to discourage dog owners from staying there. ...

Do not think that you will be reunited with your lost pet in NSW because the animal is microchipped. I think it is very wrong that NSW council pounds can ignore that your pet's ownership details may be recorded on a different register other than the NSW companion animal database. They may take the micro...

As a recent poster said in another post, the biggest issue in travelling with dogs is OPDs (other people's dogs). I agree. We can deal with vaccinations, picking up poo, keeping ours on leads, controlling barking, protection from baits / ticks / fleas, CPs which don't welcome them and us, etc. But we h...
