Hi all, what do bus owners use or recommend as stabilisers for a bus when stationary, to reduce movement from wind and getting in and out? We don't need levellers to get it level, we use timber for that, but something to stop the rocking. What suggestions, where might we find such a thing, and any idea on...

Hi all we are travelling to Tasmania in January 2013 and read that fuel containers need to be empty of fuel and filled with water. So this poses a couple of questions... Can you refill the containers unleaded and diesel with fuel again? and what to do about generators. Maybe easier to buy new containers...

I couldn't believe the temperature here at home in the shade at 3.30pm today, so took a picture. I have so much respect and thanks for all them guys & girls out there in the extreme heat battling and or preventing fires.

I couldn't decide where this post should go but wanted to advise that the dump point that used to be in the Riverside Park at Moruya has been re-located to Shore St near the Bowling Club. It is a council dump point and it's re-location has taken it away from near a children's playground. It might be a bit ha...

I'm currently camped in my sisters yard at Tin Can Bay until the new year, along with some of her family and mine, so quite a mob here. Just as well they have a big yard! Lots of fun with 4 grandies between us. Yesterday we all piled into 4WD's to do a circuit into Cooloola National Park, onto Teewah Beach,...

Hi all, our daughter and son in law thought they'd have a quiet holiday in Tassie. Today they went to Port Arthur and then went to head off for Hobart, you can guess the rest, spending the night at a fire refuge at Nubeena, all safe but very worried parents. Sue & Steve

I was reading another thread about rego labels, etc for NSW vehicle regos. This is a simple tool to help identify if a vehicle is registered in NSW. https://myrta.com/regcheck/ Follow a couple of prompts and you can get a few details on a vehicle. Daryl

When I was heading to my sisters at Tin Can Bay, I detoured through Pomona/Kin Kin Road, as I often do. But I stupidly went by Counter Road which is very rocky and rough. When I arrived at Sis', bil noticed water coming from the tank. I don't use the tank very much, because of the extra weight, but I do put 10...

I debated if to put this here or in 'I digress' but thought more people would see it here.
