Stabilisers for bus?

Hi all,

what do bus owners use or recommend as stabilisers for a bus when stationary, to reduce movement from wind and getting in and out?  We don't need levellers to get it level, we use timber for that, but something to stop the rocking.

What suggestions, where might we find such a thing, and any idea on the cost?

Ta

I wouldn't see why something like this wouldn't work, just make sure you get the correct weight.

My Brother has a couple of drop down legs on the rear of his Sunliner Motorhome (they were there when he purchased the vehicle) they stop a reasonable amount of movement,

As they are stabilizers they would not be carrying any wieght.

The ones I posted a pic of are portable and you get from from any auto part shop. The ones Jim mentioned I should think you could get from a Caravan Part supplier and fix to the under side of the bus.

As an ex bus driver though I am surprised you get that much movement to want stabilisers Rosie? Maybe it's different when it's not a passenger vehicle.

Thanks. It's not a lot of movement, just light rocking movement if the wind is heavy. It is a passenger bus, a coach with air suspension - but no fit-out yet. Because we plan to be stationary for a month or more at a time, we want to ensure we don't get too much movement.
