Mt Palmer
(Preview)
we are thinking of going in to Mt Palmer (south of Southern Cross) on the way past and are wandering if we should tow our van in or not. It is a 16' pop top but would rather leave it than damage it. Has anyone been in to the Mt. lately?

I'd previously been given a very old 2 way fridge, which I gave to my daughter and son-in-law as it seemed more trouble and expense than it was worth, getting it connected to my little 'Lucy'. So my son is planning to convert Gypsy t...

A while back I asked on the forum where I may find a large kettle. Some kind soul suggested an Indian Emporium. Attached is what we finished up with for $49 - the kettle holds approx 17 litres and takes about half a hour to boil. Money well spent I thought. The stubbie is only there for comparison.. l...
