You might also check Posts from the Forum.   Click on Search, and type in what you want to know, if you don't want to read through every one.

eg.   Cheap CP's/Darwin.

Or Wireless Internet Info.

Cheers,
Sheba.

Have a great trip guys
..Can't tell you too much, cause I always seem to find out things after the fact.In Darwin though, to avoid high cost CP's there is a place on the left hand side of the Stuart about 20K's or so out of the cbd(maybe not that far)which is very reasonably priced..toilets; that's about it though(somewhere around Berrimah) that is available,a council park area, that was about $18 a night(I think) when I was through in Sept/Oct.No entry from the Stuart H/way but there is a sign with the ph number.May be worth checking.Hope this helps somewhat..as far as the fishing is concerned..they're everywhere if you look..one of my greatest memories of Darwin is the 12kg Spaniard I caught off Buffalo Creek.Fishing fairly light,10minutes and 2 near coronaries to deck it.Sadly the Barra were not on the chew before I left.
I loved Darwin as I'm sure you will, the whole Territory is an amazing place albeit different.
Cheers
David
PS: maybe Robbins or Robertson Park,I was committed at $43 a night....if only.

Camps 5 can be bought at any good bookstore, about 50.00 and has all the info needed for grey nomading around Aus. gives you all the free camping sites etc.
Its a blue and orange book. Will say Camps 5 Australia Wide on the front.

It's also at newsagents.
Welcome to the GN fold.
While the forum is a wealth of information, much of the information you seek is on the internet some where.
With Google Maps you can check out your distance and destinations, and then you can check out what's available wherever you're going.
This internet thing is a wonderful tool.
Safe and happy travels.

If you received a private message it will still be there somewhere. Click on you own name and when your own page comes up click on the bit for emails received. It should be in there. I don't think it can disappear.

Click on http://www.campsaustraliawide.com/index.php to get an update on Camps 5 soon to be Camps 6.  Site says late February, probably worth waiting for the new edition.  You can email them for more info.
