I've just commenced building an 18' totally off grid van. One of the most important aspects for me is that it DOES NOT LEAK. Online research and anecdotal evidence suggests that perhaps a HUGE percentage of vans less than 10 years old leak. Stories of roof leaks, window leaks, seam and corner leaks...

I mentioned this recently as a comment on another thread, but thought I would post it here. A few years ago I was in a cp at Alice Springs and had these noisy birds settling down for the night in tree branches above our RV. As well as noise deposits from above were another likely scenario as the branches e...

Collect a few pumice stones about the same size as a normal fire starter and keep them in a small jar of kero. Take one out as required, works very well. If you can find it in the fire after it goes out it can be re used. -- Edited by grahamg on Tuesday 19th of May 2015 08:41:13 AM

Looking to buy a Twin Tub washing machine to take on the Big Lap. We have been told to avoid Automatics due to the amount of water used and especially the Lemair but due to breakdowns, hard to find repairers and parts. Have found a 5kg that has XPB50 - 1288S or Wasser X5 written on it (...

E.G.R. can be simply blanked off or controlled by an add on module,
has any one done either of these mods. & what resulted,
