There is a lot of information regarding the correct towbar for the latest Nissan Patrol. How ever it is all confusing as to weather I need a WDH or not.Opinion 1Nissan does not recommend the use of WDH on any of their vehicles in AUS. An aftermarket towbar makes no difference. A WDH induces significant a...

Had to pick up a few things at Aldi. As usual had a browse along the specials. Saw they had Cable Ties on special. On closer look they have 2 types. The usual 500 piece set and a 50 piece set of reusable ties. Brought the reusable ties. Price is up though this time. Glenn

Hi everyone, Much has been written here about caravan covers, some preferring to use the grey/silver tarps. With the conventional covers, does the van get hot while under the cover? I bought one off eBay a while ago (made in China). It seems to have what I call "breathing" patches all through the mater...

Wifey and I are hoping to begin our touring adventure late in April with our 20' 2.48 Tonne Windsor dual axle caravan. Been thinking of getting a 2015 diesel 4x4 MUX to pull it with. They are listed as having 3,000 kg braked towing capacity. So we're wondering how people are finding the MUX's for towing o...

Hi All, I own a 2011 Jayco Expanda van, which unfortunately has no battery power on board. We have recently booked a 3 day holiday to an unpowered campsite in a national park which has no lighting. I'm hoping that someone may be able to suggest some reasonably priced solar lighting options that I can use...

Hi All, This question I am sure must have been asked before. However at the risk of repeating any replies, I would like to ask about which TV antenna most would recommend. I have a winegard similar in shape as the sensar 111, it looks like a flat metal sheet type with a booster, which works fine in are...

Good evening all, this is my very first post. Hopefully I'm about to start my first trip on the road. I was a week away from starting back in August this year but I fell over and broke both of my shoulders. I've been on the mend since, another couple of months to go. I live in W.A. I was going to head over to the E...

According to Victoria's State RSL President, Anzac Day March in Melbourne has been cancelled. " all a bit hard to organize" from what I heard him say on radio this morning. Vietnam Vets spokesman is not a happy camper. Tonight on SBS Tv, big advert for the Gay Mardigras Parade. To steal a well known sen...

This is my first effort to post a photo. Not sure how it will turn out. We have a 6.53-metre Coromal Princeston van which equates to approx.22 ft. We tow with a 100 series Landcruiser. Note the WDH. ( weight distribution hitches)_ We carry timber/wood and hoses in 2 baskets under the van plus a portable g...
