Hello,
We have a 2013 Jayco Expanda Outback, bought second hand 7 months ago.
The stereo speakers work inside but we cannot get the outside speakers to work. We wonder if there is a special nack to switch between inside and outside speakers or perhaps they are not working.
Any comments appreciated

Hi KymLou
If you go through your stereo menu by pushing the volume button you should come to fader turn the volume button clockwise or anti clockwise until you hear noise inside or outside. Some vans may have a switch in van somewhere that turns exterior speakers on.
Cheers

As Travelyounger says, fire up the stereo, a find the fader control, and move that between front and rear on the screen.
That works on some setups.
If it doesnt, look near the stereo for an ordinary single light type switch. Our 2009 Sterling pop top had one of those to turn the outside speakers on.

Chaos, mayhem, confusion. Good my job here is done
Some sound systems (like mine) require power off requirement as they were designed for cars with ignition switch - After power is on there is only a 10 sec window of time to adjust some functions before adjustments are locked out.
Check your manual carefully regarding front and back speakers. I had sparky fit a manual toggle switch to my unit so I could isolate if required.

G'day Kym, if you get them working and have other happy campers around you, don't have too loud to disturb them and most important, turn out side off when inside at night and listening to whatever. Some people have TV sound through speakers and are inside at night with sound outside as well.

Thanks everyone for comments.
Followed advice, found single white 'light switch' inside cupboard near stereo. On volume dial clicked/pushed until Fader appeared, then moved volume dial clockwise and anti-clockwise. The words Front or Centre or Rear appeared depending on how many times I pushed the volume button. Then 1 to 15 when turning the volume dial.
We do not have a User Manual and I've exhausted You Tube.
Guess we will continue to use radio apps on IPad
Thanks again
I don't have outside speakers Kym but do have a radio inside but don't use it. I listen to radio or my music via my iPhone and that is connected to a Bluetooth speaker that go inside or out side. I also have my books on the iPhone.
How would we survive these days without so called 'smart' phones?
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.
