We are about to head off for 12months tripping around. Hope to stay in free camp spots most of the time. Our van/4wd is set up with solar panels, batteries etc but we were wondering how most travellers top up their water tanks when on the road and not venturing into caravan parks.

New van arrived in Adelaide christmas eve, we called in boxing day on our way to port pirie. Still has to be detailed, solar panels fitted, etc. Hoping to pick up this coming weekend. Hand in my resignation on the 13Jan finish 13th feb and start the big adventure 2 days later.
