Hi All, Having just posted a critical report on the Lighning Ridge Hotel/Motel C.P. I thought that, in the interests of even handedness I should post this. We and other travellers are surprised to find a really nice caravan park here, charging only $31 a night for a powered site for 2 when prices are much higher at other towns on this highway. Its the Fitzroy River Lodge... 1st one in Fitzroy Crossing when travelling toward Broome.

Just had a look at my friends' CMCA Mag, and read about this Unit. I reckon they will be ideal for some GN's. Number 443 in Camps 6, but it's not in Camps 5 at all. It's the showgrounds/pony club. $5 per night if you use power, pay at the local store, otherwise a donation towards the historical society.
