It is possible to change 30 Cm.240 Volt fluro tubes with LED tubes They are around the $30 mark However you have to remove the ballast and gubbins and run them directly through the on/off switch only. Not sure of the legalities of doing this yourself but it can be done. I do know one of my best purchases wa...

Lost docunents can be an absolute nightmare at any time but more traumatic if you are travelling. To help make the pain a little less we have done colour photo copies of our documents and had a friend who is a JP certify them as true and correct copies. we have put them in a plastic sleve folder and have the...

Glad to be home again. Had been away house/animal/sitting for friends with Medical Problems. Then 3 weeks ago, fell and broke 3 ribs and punctured a lung. After a week in hospital, other friends insisted I go home with them, [rather than be home alone so soon] so I've been very spoilt for the last f...

We have been on the road for over 5 weeks so far - and this time we didn't bring the dog. He's not actually our dog but our son's. Sound familiar? So we have left him with the son. Why? Okay Techies, I'm looking for advise. When the caravan is level, the hitch sits about 60mm higher than the towball. When it's hitched, it's lower, but it doesn't seem to 'sag' the back of the car so much as it's just 'downhill', if that makes sense. I've been researching, and 'they' say I need a weight...
