This gravity powered light was designed to provide a cheap power source for Third World nations. I assume it could also have camping and caravan applications. Interesting in either case http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7aCvf2MQmM

Unfortunately it has to be parked in the driveway without cover, and taking the brunt of the West Australian sun. We have had it covered during winter, but for the last few months the cover h...

How many grey nomads are there? What about blue rinse nomads? Or bald nomads? Or white (like me) nomads? Or Grecian 2000 nomads? Variety is the spice of life, ya know. Grey schmey.

We have a rough day on the coast yesterday and remained indoors most of the day whilst the rain tumbled and the wind howled past. Our poor next door neighbour who has just returned from Bargara last week found his caravan 6 mts from where he had unhooked it....Thank heavens for insurance

After a heap of family drama I am finally on my way again. Currently at Streaky Bay SA on my way west. Should be free camping from here on. Any tips on good camp sites across the Nulabor would be appreciated. Fowlers Bay is already on my list. Anyone else around this way?

I guess we would need something to run t.v. 8 led lights, laptops x2, phones x2, can't think of anything else that might need electricity, so maybe use 4 hours a day? Any thoughts would be very welcome. We would pre...

I think Milo must have taken off for destinations far away and forgot to land. I haven't seen him around for a few days. Maybe he's added a rocket to his fleet and is lost in space.
