Went to lunch at the Tooradin Sports Club today, and found a camp nearby - not free, but $10 night, showers and toilets and water nearby. On the foreshore near the boat ramp - nice big grassed area - not listed in Camps 7 at all, but spoke to a lady who was staying there - she is very happy staying there, as w...

I've done it! First big trip under my belt. Yeppoon to Darwin in 4 days. It was extremely hot in western Qld so no point in hanging around. It's so good to be here with the NT kids and grand babies.

A woman who was a tree hugging greenie purchased a piece of forest. There was a large tree in one of the highest parts of her forest. She wanted a good view of the natural splendour of her land, so she started to climb the big tree. As she neared the top she encountered a spotted owl that attacked her. In her h...

Only toilets, no showers. Depends what events are on as to where you can park. Have to ring caretaker before parking....
