Stayed two days, beautiful spot, very relaxing, drop pit toilet and under cover picnic areas also has resident rooster. Lovely views plus we enjoyed plenty of walks around the hilly rock area. Told by some locals good fishing for Redfin and if you are lucky Murray Cod and Yellow Belly. Bessie.

Now that we have hit the road full-time this is our setup. We had a '89 Hilux with the Holden V6 & auto. It did a great job of towing the "van but the ride was like an old dray cart. This Commodore has the 5ltr V8 & auto. The fuel consumption, towing the 'van is just about the same as the Hilux and w...

Have a wireless camera on my van with the image being displayed in the rear vision mirror. My issue is that it works well with the car not running, but when connected and travelling the image often is not there or is breaking up with lots of lines thru it. I thought it might have something to do with the L...

Was told the other day that the Ninndigully Pub ( Between St.George and Goondiwindi ) will be celebrating 100 years of operation on the October long weekend. The people who told us said there were 30-odd 'vans there when they stayed. Heaven knows how big a shindig it will be for the centenary.

In 1880the first double brick home was built and then in 1908, incorporated this building into a two story reinf...

Beside the Condamine river ( saw a few locals fishing ). Huge, open, level area. One toilet and showers next to the store for a gold coin donation. Lots of bir...

I have followed most of the fora in the US that are concerned with solar living with RV and home (on and off grid) but I have not found a thread in which folks share hands on experience with such battery b...
