Just thought I would remind people that SA now has fire restrictions in place with the Fire Season being brought forward due to dry conditions, so when you park please leave your matches in the van, you could be fined or worse you could cause a bush fire. Remember your fire can be in control and still star...

Hi Campers, We now have a twin cab ute (with canopy) and while the vision from drivers seat in fabulous (being higher up than most cars) rear vision could be better... DH is considering installing a reversing camera and it would also help with hitching up the van. Question to folk with these vehicles...

Went for another trip south to check out a few other models and saw Kingdoms. We were impressed with the finish and their current sale price is substantially cheaper than others on our short list. $5000 will buy a lot of diesel for a trip. Wondering if any members have first hand experience with this...

I thought that this reflected some people on this forum , It was sent to me by email so I don't know the author and don't claim the lovely words. I grew up with practical parents. A mother, God love her, who washed aluminum foil after she cooked in it, then reused it. She was the original recycle queen bef...

Hello everyone. We have been caravanning for just two years and have lots to learn. We see things advertised and wonder! Latest to exercise our mind is caravan tyre protectors for when the van is in the shed for a length of time. Advertisements say use these and reduces/prevents flat spots on the tyres...

Well, C1, C2 and myself just got back from said show a little disappointed. If you wanted to but a CV, all good but as far as the smaller toys go not as good as previous years I have been. I went to check out a few toys but came away with nothing to do with CV's. I did get a pulsator device for the pain at the back o...

G'Day, I'm fitting new magnets and the current hurdle is how do I compress the plastic grommet that the green wires go through so I can pull the wires - it's the same fitting seen on electrical 240vac appliances. I can brutishly remove it but would like to know the other (proper) method of removal. Man...

I admit I should have checked this a year ago. Gas HWS in motor home. The anode was nearly all sacrificed, and caused a weird odor in the hot water. Most anodes are cheaper on Ebay. Got to it time before tank corrosion sets in. -- Edited by Vanderee on Tuesday 4th of November 2014 12:17:24 PM
