Do you ever just pull off to the side of the road for an overnighter, John, or do you usually have a camp spot in mind?

I guess, both.

I usually have a camp spot in mind and it will be my ultimate aim. However, there are times when away from towns, with a 'long haul' to the next campspot, and in need to break the journey, I will look for a quick overnighter. I will pull into an "off to the side of the road" spot. But that usually is well inland and usually I am the only one there
