I removed the awning from its Carefree roller to have a repair done on it. As I removed the front end cap from the roller so as to be able to slide the awning out of the groove there was a buzz as the spring unwound. Now I have to reassemble the roller. We have a 5 year old waeco that will no longer work on 12 volt. It works very well on 240 but shows a red error light as soon as we switch it over. All the leads are good and 12 volt plug.
