Anyone here at Greens Lake?

Desert Dweller · Desert Dweller

We've noticed a lack of posts about Greens in recent months. We're heading there today, staying for one night on the way back from Outback NSW to Melbourne. Can people still camp there?

Today we were a bit bored so we went for a drive to see whats happening at greens. Toilets on the blink again! Wow! Found this Ikea flat pack shack that was left behind by someone who couldn't put it together. With help from a handy friend we knocked that shack up in record time! Now to enjoy a well earned re...

I wish that we had a green lake up here in Queensland. Jay&Dee

I mean the whether. Is it already cold, or still nice and warm. As to "the winds" I don't ask. I know winds there are most of the time quite strong. I think I'll be passing through on my way to Adelaide, end of April, and will stay for couple of days there.

Anybody at Greens Lake . if this weather keeps up Big Bird, the Pink Flamingo might make it's return

Well the race is on to mark out your spot for the Australia Day weekend. 200e lakeside drive is safe for now! Star pickets and roped off areas are spreading. Vans and tents are being parked, then left claiming their patch of lakeside paradise! To return when w@#k is over and the long weekend begins! Brin...

Nup, not me but them. Yep they have all gone but not the hundreds you think. A group of 20-30. However, you will have to 'read all about it' in my January update that is at the printers now Oh! Most of the long weekend crowd have gone too.

I have arrived and set up at GreenS Lake. Not the best weather here today (Thursday 16/11). Rain all day and thunder just hit as I do this at around 2.30pm.

JC just put on the most spectacular light show here tonight. Just brilliant.

The annual departure and return to the Lake is about to take place...I hope all the happy campers have their packing cartons, Removalists and U-Haul booked. A damned nuisance, IMO, for those settled in. As usual it is the very few (LOCALS) in the past that have spoiled it for the rest. And I wonder where...

Did Greens Lake get hit with yesterday's storm?

Beautiful day today. Lota of day and weekend trippers. Watching boats and jet-skis launch was entertaining. From the very quick and successful to the not so. From about 40 tents/vans last nigh to 30+ day tripper today it was a hive of activity. Very quiet at night. Loudest noise tonight is the farmers...
