Their is a Dump Point at this site for a gold coin donation. It also seems like you can camp up, we noted a caretakers van and a van parked up. Nice little town. Hema 8 G4 in CAW6. Not listed in our book, don't know if it's in CAW7!!!

You can't go past this place for a great experience and it's dog friendly too. Sit around the camp-fire at happy hour, then head inside the open sided shed for a great black and white movie. The hosts, Kim and Glen will look after you for just $10pn, unpowered, well worth the cost.

Walkamin Central Van Park has to be the best place to stop on the Atherton Tablelands just 12 Klm south of Mareeba , Between Atherton and Mareeba at $22 a night , I did look at Rodeo ground at $17 a night , They get really packed in there .

Hi all we are heading over the the gladstone area to look for work(I am a mechanical fitter) and would like to free camp as most caravan parts do not take big rigs(we are 19m long) as we take up too much room. any have any suggestions cheers robin
