Insurance advice

Hi all we're new travellers about to embark on our first big trip. We pick up our new van soon & we're wanting advice on insuring the van. We have quotes from CIL & Suncorp both which are very expensive . Any advice would be appreciated .

Gooday, Have Friends intending to drive from Perth to Brisbane in about 10 days time, they will not go anywhere near Melbourne but concerned they may have to Quarantine in Brisbane for 2 weeks. Just after some advice on some good vans for off road travel
*There are only 2 of us with 1 large dog, definitely want an inside toilet and shower.
*Preferably single axle just in case we decide to do some beach driving.
