Thanks to the kindness of a GN. I have an Aldi-powered mobile (no Aldi in WA, so he sent me the SIM card). Works a treat. Local calls 12 cents a minute. Call my wife in UK . . . 10 cents a minute! As they say, go figure. Cheers, Tony

This homemade van and 1930 Ford turned up at Goldwire WA yesterday. On the big loop from Bunbury. Can travel at top speed of 70km ph. All tyres etc have to come in from the States.

Guess what, I got a photo of Myrtle in the mail today. Only trouble was it was attached to a speeding infringement notice. Got caught doing 71 in a 60 area in Dalby on my way down. Fine of $146 and 1demerit point. Good old Myrtle, proves she can go fast.

Travel Auctions

I'm still not over happy with Travel Auctions......I wish Caravan Parks would advertise on the grey Nomad site I'm also sure it wouldn't be near as expensive as the C/P's are asked to pay Travel Auctions.......Is there any other way a person can find good deals...If so I'd like to know....
