That's why society has what you call an "apology".

If you think it is "never me" or "never us" ... may be it was, may be it wasn't.

I received a text on my phone a week or so ago from someone obviously on this site, telling me that I couldn't be on a pension because of the cost of the new MH I bought and that I must be lying as a pensioner couldn't afford it, and I was too young to be a pensioner anyway.

Well I did send a detailed reply, not that I could post any of it here, there would be too many #%^*%}{{ etc.

I must have had my mobile number on my profile at some stage. I'm not really fussed what they think. I also tried ringing the number but there was no answer and no message bank which was disappointing :)

The truth is I am on a police disability pension and yes it's a good one and yes I am very fortunate to have my Beast to travel in and live my life the way I do now, but it has come at a hell of a cost to me personally.

I really don't care what people think or say anymore about me. I just think its sad when others judge you without asking questions fist.

that sucks, shogun , its just wrong and plain rude of some one
rininging you and telling you how to live your life, regardless of if your on
a pension or not.. or how you got your rig, we share our lives on these sites
becase we are human and want to share our ups and our downs with other humans..
be kind to each other people..... life is too short for all this crap as we are here today gone tomorrow...

Just a quick note to remind everyone that the PM system is in place so that people can talk to each other in a positive way or perhaps exchange email addresses or personal details once they feel comfortable doing so. .....just adding to what Dazren said, we should keep in mind that these people get there kicks seeing the controversy they have caused in print, so are just "Trolls" and should be ignored as Dazren said.... bleh

So as the song says "Don't worry, Be Happy" and ignore them (but always report them to Cindy, remember if they are bad enough she has the power to remove their membership from the forum if she thinks it warrants it). smile

I think i almost feel sorry for them. They must have such misserable lives and obviously not enjoying being nomads like the rest of us.
A good lesson with internet, never put any personal information online that you dont want the world to know. Too many loosers out there with nothing better to do than cause trouble.

As to that phone call, try a google search on their number. Its amazing what comes up at times. Might tell you who it was.

I am not part of any group but thought I better say something in case my non-participation in this thread somehow showed guilt. lol

C'mon Marge, end the speculation, spill who is the baddy(s), subtly if you wish. You obviously are regularly checking in on this thread so do what most are suggesting and clear the air.

The forum was set up for people who wanted to talk to each other about various aspects of a wonderful lifestyle and to perhaps make contact with people of a similar mindset.
