Storge Space / Water Heater - will this work ?
(Preview)
I have a Toyota Coaster bus which gets brutally cold and damp during Winter. I was thinking about putting a curtain partition in the sleeping area and putting a 100 liter water container under the bed. Depending on how it needs tweaking I will put insulation on the tank. The idea is to use an externally m...

Tainted water
(Preview)
We have a Jayco Silverline we purchased new 12 months ago and water from the taps has a plastic/chemical taint to it obviously coming from the plastic plumbing pipes. Does anyone know how to get rid of the taint? The water filter gets rid of it but that's a slow way of filling a kettle.

Solar panels to power a Vitrifrigo 230l compressor fridge
(Preview)
Hello oh wise ones. Buying a new van and I am assured that 1x155w solar panel and 2 100Ah batteries will be more than adequate to power the vitrifrigo fridge we are having installed. I think we should get 2 panels or perhaps 2 x 130 if you believe 2x155 is overkill. We don't plan on too much free camping. ...

How safe are the electrics in your RV?
(

How safe are the electrics in your RV? 10 years ago, the 240V system on the OKA was given a full certificate of approval by a qualified electrician who specialised in RVs. It comprised some power points fed by a PSW inverter and protected by a dedicated RCD. This would be similar to virtually all RVs when...

Hello all, Thank you so much for the encouraging feedback. It seems that these posts have hit the spot.
