Internal roof problem

Hi guys. I posted this on another site with no results so thought I would turn to the Golden Oldies. I have a 16 yo pop top. With constantly going up and down the ceiling has torn virtually all around, see pics. I am thinking of slicing with a Stanley, Sikaflexing then applying a vinyl tape. Any other ideas...
