Erratic Water Level indication

My 2011 Winebago Esperance has had an erratic indication of contents of the Grey Water tank since I purchased it 2 years ago. I generally have an indication of either 75% or 100% even though the tank is empty. That is no big deal as I know how much water I have emptied into it through my usage of the fresh water tank. The fresh water tank indicator is working OK so I know what I have used.

The issue is that the display panel issues a regular audible alert telling me the grey water is full. I have silenced the audible tone but the display alternates between all is OK and grey water is full. This then illuminates the display screen each time it decides to tell me about the grey water. So what is the problem. Well, at night just as I drop off to sleep the display goes to full bright for a few seconds. Then it dims and goes back to sleep. This happens dozens of time a night so the bright flash of light tends to wake you up.

I have treated the tank at different times to a dose of Nappysan, bleach and then vinegar and soda hoping to clean the sensors. The discharge from the tank is clean after each treatment so I can only assume that it is clean inside. There are 4 or 5 sensors inserted through the side of the tank to measure water depth. One of them had a broken wire which I thought may have been the culprit for the erratic measurements however fixing it did nothing to the display

What I am looking for is a copy of the Users Manual to see what programming capability exists. I want to determine if I can disable the Grey water measurement & display entirely.

The image shows the faceplate of the display. Does anyone have either suggestions as to what I can do next or an electronic copy of the User Manual that I could access.

Tks.  Noel

the normal cure for that problem is to remove the wire from the top sensor at the tank

jebs,

Thanks for that. Seems like it is not an infrequent occurrance. I have received the same advice from another forum. Ill give it a go.
