What to do with car keys when swimming
(Preview)
I'm wondering what solo travellers do with electronic car keys when swimming. I'm fine with leaving my keys with my towel at the pool, but I did not go swimming at Ellery Creek (outside of Alice) which was a shame. I've not been solo on a coastal trip yet but when I do I will definitely want to go swimming....

I am having a "three quarter life" crisis I think. I have just reached the ripe old age of 75, my wife has decided someone else will offer her a better life & I still have the Wanderlust that I contracted many years ago. With no family to hold me back, I am seriously thinking about getting back "on the W...

Awning to difficult to put up solo
(Preview)
I bought a 2x2mt awning for my car after my first solo trip to give, but I find it to awkward to put up and take down on my own. So I've only used it on the odd occasion I have company. The hardest part is trying to roll it back up it's just to heavy. Any suggestions Cheers Lucy

LOOKING FOR HELP
(Preview)
I am looking at buying a Sunliner Trex for myself as I do not need anything too big. I thought a full size motorhome would be too stressful as I am on my own. Does anyone own one and if so what are your thoughts or do you have any changes that you would have made in hindsight?

Hi everyone, as soon as I can find someone to stay at and look after my place down here on the S/W corner, I intend travelling north towards the warmth. I choose to travel fairly light in a 4WD, with a few toys and creature comforts and solar powered everything. When passing towns along the way, I sometime...
