Hi to all, My sister has bought an old van with the intention of doing it up enough so that she and her two kids can live in it on the block while their house is built. She needs to put in a shower (and various other things) without spending too much - outside of a base with a curtain around it, can anyone sugge...

Well it looks as if we are here a little longer. Took the 4 x drive in for its 80k service last Monday and found the front wheel bearings are chewing out the stubb axel. The parts have to come from Adelaide. So they have lent us a car until the 4x4 is ready. Repco has been really good to us and would recomm...

Hi all, I know there has been a lot of discussion about various types of heaters both gas or diesel, but I haven't seen any mention of the Snugger SF 2 diesel which run about $1000 supply only. Considerably cheaper than the 2 other main contenders. Has anyone been there with these. I am looking for som...

Hi all This Thursday is ANZAC Day as I am sure everyone is aware. On this sacred day I invite everyone to stop for a minute and give thanks to every person who has ever served our Country. If it wasn't for these brave souls we may not enjoy the freedom of travelling around as we do. If you're near an RSL, maybe...

Travelling to WA soon, thought about the ferry, might save a bit of time. South Australia, Wallaroo to Cowell ferry approx a 1 hour trip, for the Kea and 2 adults about $270, then have to drive another 100k to link up with the Eyre highway at Kimba. It's only 400k around there by road, less than a tank of d...

So now, the Dream Pot has moved over, and the Thermomix has entered my life. It's not portable like the Dream Pot, and it hasn't arrived yet, but I was wondering if anyone else has one or is about to get one? Comments a...
