Hi everybodyMy wife and I (and dog) have booked our motorhome on the Spirit of Tasmania from Melbourne to Devonport on 25 February, now that the restrictions have been lifted. We have to check in at Station Pier by 7 am at the latest, and were wondering if anybody has found somewhere nearby to park over...

Just read the story about 'putting your feet up' in the front section of the forum. Well, if the picture shown of the driver with his feet up on the dash straddling the steering wheel is an example of what we can expect, we should all be very worried. The picture clearly shows the vehicle well over the cent...

AdBlue shortage most of it comes from China. Surprise surprise! Pissing in your tank will only give you 2% urea, you need 32%. Luckily I'm petrol.

I have been asked by Roma Caravans to sound out owners of Roma caravans to see if there is enough interest in setting up a Roma owners caravan club. This could be a stand alone club, or may be an owners group within the Australian Caravan Club (Subject to their Rules). That decision would have to be made by...

We have now had our Winnebago Coogee for 3 months and just got back from a 7k trip around Qld. When you purchase a new product of any sort you expect some issues that will crop up, we understand that. Does anyone obey the rules set down by caravan parks anymore? We are currently in a caravan park on the NSW south coast. It specifically states that cyclists must wear a helmet and only cycle during daylight hours. It also says to drive slowly on the roads, walking pace only. All day long children and ad...

Holden Trailblazer ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) Trailblazer, 2019, 30,000km, fully serviced, towing a 2.8T caravan. A very odd thing happened today (10-Dec-2021); I was about 50km into a 200km trip towing my caravan on a long, straight, flat bitumen road in central Victoria. Conditions were d...

I have read the occasional post regarding the installation of a domestic 240V fridge/freezer into a caravan but cannot find detailed information. My caravan has a Thetford 184L three way fridge/freezer which works well but, eventually, it will fail and I note a replacement is around $2400! which s...
