It's been getting very dry here at Dickabram bridge but today we have had some lovely rain. The area certainly needs it & the Mary River is very low.

Yes, we are still here. Awaiting my appointment with specialist next Wednesday. I think I mentioned before, a couple of weeks ago, about a young couple who arrived & set up a tent here. They had 2 children (a baby & a toddler), 2 dogs tied up all day on very short leads, some small chickens in a s...

Yet again I read another thread in solo's Re-gum trees. You should NEVER park near or under a gum tree. They are not called widow makers for nothing.Dnot believe it only happens in bad weather, quite often they will survive a storm only to shed limbs a few days later. Have seen this happen many times on th...

I see Happy Wanderer is now "The Master" - when did this happen? I missed sending congratulations, sorry Marj. Not sure how it works, but seems like with over 10,000 posts she's grown out of the "Guru" status! "Mistress" might have been more suited though.

Hi all, we have been at Aysons Reserve for a couple of weeks now it's a great place. There are very clean toilets and a dump point but no rubbish bins or potable water we recommend this place to everyone, it's very central and close to Bendigo

Just wondering-apart from air con or fridge, power outages etc. What do people use their generators for?

Be warned....If you are offended by people correcting your spelling or grammar, read no further. I am not attempting to offend anyone, but it is damned difficult to get the gist of some posts for want of better English. It's really not hard to get it right, unfortunately a spell checker will not always...

I recently changed my hot water anode. So today I tried to test for hot water prior to our departure next week. I am not getting any water to flow. The overflow valve when activated has not water jetting out of same. So ... how do I prime the system to get the water flow and then hot water. I am guessing that I s...

Arrived at Martin's Bend, east of Berri on the River Murray in South Australis. It's got this name because it's a bend in the river but who Martin was I have no idea. We're staying here for a couple of days so I may get the chance to find out. We left Kuroonda in a howling gale. Fortunately it provided a tail w...

Hi my Waeco fridge won't run from my agm battery. I get red flashing light error. Was running with solar panel attached. If I use the low batt override it works. Batter should be fully charged. Any advice please?

Having recently hit the road, we're becoming increasingly dependent on the GPS unit to guide us on where we want to go and I'm becoming more suspicious that they appear to know as little about how to get where we want to go that I do. We have 2 GPS units - one in the Mazda BT50 that has received a fair bit of bad...
