Hi John
I recently changed my anode and all I did to purge the air out was open the pressure relief valve/drain tap and turned on the mains water pressure until water came out.
I then turned off the pressure relief valve and opened the hot water tap in the on-suite and purged the lines of all air until a constant stream came out.
Hope this is of some help as I'm not sure what type of hot water system you have.
Cheers - John
Hi guys,
As I said, I intend to hook up the mains pressure hose.
I did this and hey presto, the air was pushed out of the system and water began to flow normally. Also the over flow pressure valve was doing it job.
I then used the 12 volts pump and the water was flowing freely.
However, I did run the taps for quite some time, with the HW system turned on 15 minutes earlier and no hot water.
So back to the drawing board again, tomorrow morning.
Thanks for the tips,
Jay&Dee
Ok!!! A little embarrassed here....
I failed to see that there was a reset button on the hot water system... and guess what......
and Yes .. a set of steak knives to the winner......
Pushed the reset button and we are not back in business.
Little trivia I probably should not have shared with you...
Like the saying goes,
RTFM refer to the xxxxxxx manual.
