One small step... or a giant leap?
(Preview)
Well, after about 18 months of pondering and planning, re-planning and re-pondering, I've taken the first step to nomadhood with the purchase of a 1990 Hino Rainbow. Now the fun bit starts with deciding on the layout, power, solar, water, etc with the aim of being ready to hit the road towards the end o...

Sure is pretty fair dinkum mate...
(Preview)
Gday... There is no better way of life in the world than that of the Australian. I firmly believe this. The grumbling, growling, cursing, profane, laughing, beer drinking, abusive, loyal-to-his-mates Australian is one of the few free men left on this earth. He fears no one, crawls to no one, bludges...

Count of posts not changing
(Preview)
Is there a setting in my profile that must be set that counts the number of posts that I make, as it never appears to increase, as my present count is the same as a year and looking back on my recent posts the count never seems to update. Looking at this post, it has updated by one so does that mean you only it is...

Rubbish on the roadside
(Preview)
As a group of concerned or like minded individuals I assume that we have some pull as a lobby group. We have just come across from Keith, Vic and joined up along the Princes Highway. The lack of public facilities along the road is disappointing and consequently, the human waste at the various viewing si...

live long & prosper

Spending so much time on the road with very little to do between wee stops the mind turns to the unusual questions in life. Sometimes you end up light years away & miss the last 100kms or so. Try mulling over this one. Let's see what we can come up with? "What IS the speed of dark?"
