Another town to boycott perhaps.
(Preview)
Just picking up on what B and B wrote about Esperance, at the end of the thread about Bendigo. If these van park owners are in the ear of the councillors about having exclusive attendance at the caravan parks in the town and it's getting difficult to free park in the vicinity - then it's simple for me = I j...

Leaking Colorado roll out awning.
(Preview)
Standard vinyl awning as fitted to Jayco etc, over New Year we stayed at the town of 1770, and it teemed with rain, the awning leaked like the proverbial, everything under it got soaked, I could not determine where it was coming in, it seemed OK where it attaches to the roof of the pop top. Underneath was l...

NEW EUROPEAN WINDOWS -YUK

New style windows -YUK. We are looking at buying a new van (semi off road etc)but really don't like the new style push out, slide down, slide up windows. They seem very fragile. Even saw a new one in sale yard broken and torn. What was wrong with the wind out ones that didn't let insects in as you open the...

Hi. I hope I'm not opening a thread that has been covered before, but I've looked without success. I apologise if I have. I have bought a Dometic replacement awning, complete with roller. Charging the caravan's battery
(Preview)
Hi Campers, how necessary is it to keep the caravan's battery charged? If the van is standing for some time - more than a couple of weeks, should it be 'topped' up? Van is under cover so solar panel wouldn't work. Thanks, Jay-Jay
