What are the views on Happy Hour circles on smokers? I have noticed that some smokers just smoke where they are sitting irrespective of others around them who may not like smoke or suffer from respiratory illnesses (eg; asthma etc) while others get up and move downwind to the outer edge of the circle w...

Hi all, am after ideas on how you have addressed the cloths line ordeal. I want something that is fairly strong and light, not something you might use once then delegate to the rubbish bin. It must be suitable for full time Grey Nomading. One idea is to put eyebolts through the awning struts, but the stru...

Hi again Wondering what roof trays are popular especially for carrying one only one person kayak on kayak holders. We have looked at Rhino rack, pretty expensive!, also the Rhino Alloy tray which is quite a bit cheaper but it needs all the extra pieces to fit it to the BT50. We have veered away from the st...

We are getting annoyed with this free camp obsession. Having just returned from 5 nights at a caravan park in Gippsland and paying only $20 a night we were more than happy to pay to keep this park in business. What we were not happy about was giant expensive vans and the expensive tow vehicles looking at f...

For years I have noticed these after-market plastic wind deflectors which people buy and attach to their driver's, and sometimes passenger's, windows. I assume they deflect the air so that you are not sitting in a gale if you have the window down. Are they any good and worth spending around $100 on?
