Some weeks ago I sought help with my pending trip to Camerons Corner. Well, the time is quickly approaching for my little adventure; leave B/Hill 6th July..and again I am seeking some "lived" experience input. As planned, I will be accompanied by 4 adult Femmes and 1 apprentice lady, driving 2 x Rente...

Had the need to replace the lock in a Dometic door in the van. The door is one of Dometic's "hourglass" style with the smoked glass closure over insect mesh. I took the van to the Dometic "service" department fully expecting them to service the failed lock - they only service Dometic branded equipmen...

Please don't turn this political ! Just wondering how fellow travellers plan to manage fuel supply issues, and cost for that matter as we have already seen jumps of 30 to 40 cents per litre. We are in the Fraser coast area and have already see several local servo's run out of fuel with people panic buying...

A few months back, I donated my 16.5 ft Jayco poptop caravan to an organisation which is using it as temporary accommodation following recent bushfires. An elderly person is apparently using it now and I don't know where it is currently parked. Being in a burnt out area, it is likely that there is no po...

My water pump has begun to give a quick "burrup" when the taps are off but the power is on to the pump. This occurs about every 4-5 minutes. Water isn't leaking out of the system. B

because I am remote and only go to Tls service area bi-monthly, I find that when I want to open Nomads I have to log in - again and again. . . . Some sites havent had to be logged into since opening the account years ago with them - what's the score with Nomads.? Gets very tiring. If I use it daily maybe it m...

I have the usual Suburban HWS in the Jayco. The temp of the water wether on gas or water is only 47-48 C. It's not hot enough because when showering too high a percentage of hot has to be used with some cold to have a decent shower. My old Majestic is near 80 - which means that less hot has to be used to temper t...

We were planning on a 3 month trip leaving Ballarat early July, going up the center to Darwin, across to the Kimberley, down the west coast to south west wa then across the Nullabor back home. We missed out last year as my father in law died and now looks like this year is a no go. Firstly the supply of fuel an...
