sights around Tibooburra

Some weeks ago I sought help with my pending trip to Camerons Corner. Well, the time is quickly approaching for my little adventure; leave B/Hill 6th July..and again I am seeking some "lived" experience input.

As planned, I will be accompanied by 4 adult Femmes and 1 apprentice lady, driving 2 x Rented Toyota Prados.

We are hoping to book ahead to secure accommodation.

What I am seeking are suggestions of things that "must be seen / done" during this return trip from and return to B/Hill. Yjey could be in Town and / or of the beaten track, so-to-speak.

As always, I await the valued inputs I receive from all of our learned colleagues living the dream.

Cheers, and best wishes to all.

P.S. If anyone is inclined, I will be at the Bar in Tibooburra, around dusk, 6th July.

Suggest keeping eye on road closures.

Closures are noted on Cameron Corner Road from Tibooburra at present due to flooding.

I know you are looking at July, but as Birdsville Track is possibly closed north of Mungerannie for  2 or more months, and Cameron Corner to Merty Merty is closed, it is possibly long term closures may apply.
