What is a good caravan for semi offroad

Hi all just wondering is there a cheaper alternative to cleaning and sanitising our toilet canister. Other than the expensive chemicals that are recommended. We are using the the little bombs and the thetford cleaning liquids. Any suggestion would be great. Cheers Louise

Has anyone traveled the Broken Hill Tibooburra Noccundra road recently. What condition is it in? I went this way to Innaminka years ago and it was OK. This time towing a caravan. ( We get soft, don't we.). Heading towards Winton from there. Any comments appreciated
