Hi all, Here's a review on a little 18v ozito chainsaw I got recently. Whilst I like to carry a saw with me when leaving the van at home and doing more remote type travels, I wasn't sure if this would appeal to as many on here. If you still take a saw along when vanning, this might be something that is of intere...

Hi All, On a recent trip I noticed the plastic cover of the boiler flue vent on my Dometic 3-way fridge has become discoloured from heat - see attached photo. Max daytime temp was about 32deg and that side of the van was sitting in the morning sun, so the gas was on practically non-stop to try and cool the th...

My light in the en-suite keeps coming on every 2-3 days after I turn it off each time. It is a touch operated , I can't work it out, it is starting to bug me, am starting to think I have a ghost living in it. It is connected to power and on my driveway, comes on I turn it off and then a few days later on it comes again...

From laneways drenched in graffiti to an ever-expanding silo trail breathing life into country towns, Australia has an eclectic mix of street art bound to compel even the firmest non-believers in the power of paint. The silos in Northam, WA, are examples of how street art can help bring new hope. Si...

Recently I have become aware of 'shared occupancy' situations and am wondering if others would be interested in exploring setting something up for people like us? My idea is to set up a group of like minded people to buy a property together and we run it how we like. At this stage I have many ideas but one...

Coming up the Birdseye highway from Elliston SA, two large Stags ran across the road in front of us, gracefully leaping over the fence. They were as big as small steers complete with antlers. Red deer most likely.

What do you do with glass jars and the like when travelling? Do you leave them in the cupboards or pack them separately with insulation? Any other tips for not spilling or breaking things when travelling?

I was just doing a bit if thinking re renting out our rig when it is sitting idle in our front yard especially during the summer months. Our van can only sleep 2. ( want we wanted.) Hi All First post from an almost Grey Nomad (sometime first half 2019 to start our Big Lap!) We will have a motorhome-with-toad combination, and will transfer our current two NSW E-tags to these vehicles. However a question has occurred to me: If the tag is on the toad windscreen, will it also incur its...

Old Age, I decided, is a gift I am now, probably for the first time in my life, the person I have always wanted to be. Oh, not my body!
