RE: Legal Ramifications after Rockhampton free camp closure

How many Motels do you see on your travels these days ? Not many ! They are a dying business. I don't see any type of Motel Owners Association taking the Caravan Parks Association to Court or complaining to Councils about the Caravan Parks building and offering for hire, Cabins that most certainly take the business away from Motels. These Caravan Park owners should stop bitching and provide the facilities they were originally set up for. Rather than give these losers money for a site, I park anywhere overnight, in Parks, Shopping Centre Car Parks, anywhere I can find that is safe. I've only been questioned by a Council Officer once in my years of travels, at Glenelg Beach, S.A. I had a chat with the Officer. He told me the household across the street had complained. So after giving him the raspberry bar to suck, he told me he was going off duty at that time, it was about 9 p.m., to drive my Motorhome around the block, come back and park under the trees so the people across the street could not see me !! What a nice chap he was !!!!
