Running fridge from tug via Anderson plug not working.

Bought my van 2nd hand and it ran the fridge on 12V only when connected to the Anderson plug on my tug. Now it wont ! I have had a CTEK DC/DC battery charger fitted to the tug and I am wondering if this may be the problem. Would appreciate any feedback ! Fridge is not connected to run off van battery Duncan.
