Thetford toilet seals
(Preview)
My caravan has a Thetford cassette (20L-ish) toilet which has performed well for the past 11 months. It has been my habit to leave a little water in it to minimise faecal deposits around the bowl. The seal has performed well and retained this water. I have observed some discolouration of the plastic wh...

Towing Mirrors Milenco Grand Aero 3
(Preview)
I've been reading the search replies for towing mirrors. Have a question, has anyone used the Milenco Grand Aero Extra Wide Flat Glass mirrors on a Colorado 2018 model? If so has there been any issues with them folding in when passed by a large truck or falling off. Thanks.

Pretty much as the subject says: I do not have confidence in the standard ball hitch for my 2.7T caravan on bush roads or bumpy bitumen roads (especially those with "waves"!) and would like to replace it. Suggestions appreciated.

Caravans stopped and weighed.

There is a lot of campfire heresy about this, but has anybody actually had their rig weighed, and are there just warnings issued, or is the offence taken more seriously.
