Noticed a few vehicles parked having open bonnets, leaving them open all night. Nissan Patrol seems to be one vehicle I have noticed. I take it that this allows the motor to cool more rapidly, although I have never done this. Is this practice recommended?

I have read a lot of articles about using eucaliptus oil in a spray bottle to 'line' a toilet before using it each time, to let the contents 'slide' away. My question is, do you mix the oil with water in the spray bottle 1st? How does this work as oil & water does not mix. Thanks stuart
