I watched Gattaca last night. It's an uplifting story of a genetically "inferior" individual who battles discrimination to achieve his life's ambition. To this end he uses the DNA and urine samples of a genetically perfect donor to defeat a daily regime of DNA testing. It was claimed that right-handed men use their right hand to point Percy at the porcelain. Needless to say, I had to put this observation to the test on my next visit to the toilet. In fact it turns out that I use my non-dominant hand for this purpose. I wonder if it would be in bad taste to have a poll on the subject.
