That was great reading and photos John. Excellent. It is great hearing about these little towns, they are so often bypassed but have so much to offer.

Now that we are doing fewer long trips up north, this has given me some interesting ideas for destinations closer to home. Thanks.

Gday...

Yep, it was. However, I did go in early in the day to check out the track and the last 500metres was narrow, and a bit down hill (close and overhanging trees) and a tightish but open bend just before the camp. It had some 'wash-aways' but I decided that if I took it in 2nd low range and nice and slow it would be no problems. It turned out to be just so.

Coming out was a bit easier as it was then a bit uphill and I could use the throttle a bit more for better control. Overall, it was definitely a GREAT camp for my week in there. Made even more so without another soul to break my solitude.

Tank water and drop loos. A couple of fireplaces as well.

Here's a couple extra photos of Wenham Camp in the Warby Range State Park.

Oh John what wonderful memories.
If it wasn't for people like you and others on this forum, people like me who are yet to discover Oz's playground would never know things like this existed. The Bago State forest and the sugar pines have blown me away! WOW
Was it intimidating standing there near the trees? I would be blown away by their sheer size and height. But what an amazing experience.
I'm still breath taken.
Thank you for sharing and the awesome details
please keep them coming.
