Has anybody been to Loyalty Beach, nr Seasia, Cape York? I have been to the top a few times in my old Hilux but usually tried to free camp. My nephew has a TI partner and they have a new daughter, who I would like to see, so I have good reason to go up, besides the fishing , and the sceenery.

Drove past the Big Pineapple on numerous occasions while staying at Palmwoods, every time I passed there were car loads of tourists pulled up outside scratching their heads at the closure of the attraction. It has obviously been closed for quite some time judging by its state of disrepair yet it is...

Hi all, I'm still working on getting my van for my travels. I will be travelling solo so don't need a large van. My budget isn't large so I am looking into vans built in the 80's or early 90's & up to about $10k preferably. My vehicle tow limit is 1600kg with a 160kg towball limit so I need to stick to somet...

Hi folks, this is a carry over from a previous topic on power management. I am trying to ascertain the usefulness of a fridge in a campervan as space is a premium. What's in a fridge? Dave.

We were woken in caravan parks by people packing up before daylight on the last 2 mornings. Maybe they have to drive long distances. Well we are on holidays so we get up around 7 and go when we are ready, not usually driving more than 300k's a day. What sort of timetable do other Grey Nomads keep?

We are a bit excited right now. It looks like we are about to purchase a new realish van. I really like the Windsor Rapid and have been trying to talk him around for two years, who says nagging doesn't work, albeit slowly. Soo all going to plan, we should have it next week and our Hawk Outback is now on the mar...

OK, here's a hard one. How do you go about finding some daycare for your much loved pet while travelling and you want to spend a few hours somewhere that you can't take your dog into?? There must be an easy way to go about it in each town. My thought would be the Information Centre for starters. Any ideas. Ed...
