A little old lady was wandering through a town and was quite lost. She wanted to ask for directions so went to a house that was painted red. She knocked on the red door and it was answered by a man dressed in red slippers, a red dressing gown and red cap. She asked for directions to the nearest bus station. T...

I saw this on another forum. Please note this is not about Muslim bashing or any other Ozzies of whatever origins. Many of our Muslim and other immigrants embrace our way of life and do their best to contribut to Ozzie society. What it is about is for the Government to do something about the Citizenshi...

Having read a few threads and talked with few people about this topic I am posting this in an attempt to better understand the whole topic.
The issues that I see are if the safety chains are too long they won't stop the A frame from digging into the road surface. The forces would be enormous and there for...

I keep telling my wife we should have moved north a couple of months ago. Going for a drive later hoping to catch a w...

My partner and I have been discussing semi retirement. More likely late career changes. We're in the very early stages of only think but are coming up with many different ideas. Does anyone have any experience with later life career changes? The three I keep thinking of are: 1. Pub ownership. Very sma...

Hi All, Having just posted a critical report on the Lighning Ridge Hotel/Motel C.P. I thought that, in the interests of even handedness I should post this. We stayed at the above for six days two weeks ago. It is a council owned park with husband and wife caretakers. There are only 20 powered sites down...

We and other travellers are surprised to find a really nice caravan park here, charging only $31 a night for a powered site for 2 when prices are much higher at other towns on this highway. Its the Fitzroy River Lodge... 1st one in Fitzroy Crossing when travelling toward Broome.

Just had a look at my friends' CMCA Mag, and read about this Unit. I reckon they will be ideal for some GN's. Total cost of Unit, including Solar Pump and Postage, is $ 613.75, or $ 463.75 without the Pump. Cheers, Sheba. http://www.fcubed.com.au/aspx/carocell-panels.aspx -- Edited by Sheba on M...
