They are gorgeous Gerty. The pilot does need an assistant on the RFDS. Well done!

Dah Rockylizard. Very punny.
I don't have a "travelling companion". I have my cute crystal cut plastic bear which use to be a smelly bear, but these days she just hangs there looking gorgeous with her pearl necklace.
I have enough to deal with between Tom telling me where to go, the 2-way radio rambling on and me singing to the music I listen to, I just don't have time to be lonely.
A mate of mine used to strap a negro blow up woman into the passenger seat. She was the best dressed "doll" I'd ever seen, with a blonde wig, and one of his wife's best dresses. She had never worn it and he figured she wouldn't miss it. That worked until she went out to the shed and saw the "other woman".
I did a trip with him and the other woman was strapped into the back seat of his F250 extra cab.
Maybe this would be a good time to reveal "who" we travel with. Especially the solos.

They also have a rescue crewman to go with those two. I'm a sucker for bears and have the full set once my crewie turns up

I love that goingsoon! I have met people who travel with a stuffed something or other and it features in most of their photos.
Very creative and memorable.
I have "Dozer" on my bed. He's a fluffy pup which sleeps all day and doesn't move anything.

No companion - but I did change the person on my GPS to a bloke, just so I could argue with his directions - "at the roundabout, take the second road" - "idiot - no roundabout there, we're on a freeway, ya nong!!!!"biggrinwink

Yes Jules, can fully relate to that one! Theres a GPS inbuilt in our Prado, and it came with a posh -accented female voice, which we cant change. "She" cops some abuse at times!!

The Bears are nice and quiet, and stay in our caravan. Pilot Bear is a fundraiser for the Southcare Rescue Helicopter, and Nurse Bear from RFDS.
A crewman would be nice, but I'd like to find one from a different organisation.

Blinky is a beauty Goinsoon, I remember crying over that story when I was a little kid. "The Adventures of Blinky Bill" started off with Blinky's mother being shot, and little Blinky couldnt work out why she wouldnt wake up from her sleep. Kept me awake at night!!!

Jeez I argue with "Tom" all the time. He just doesn't get Australia. The dirty little bugger tried to mislead me into the scrub from time to time.
"In 800 metres turn right. In 500 metres turn right etc etc"
When I get to the 800 metres there's a gate on the right leading into the bush.
The dirty little bugger tries to mislead me into the scrub. Smutty little sh!t!
