I have been in many places, but I've never been in Cahoots. Apparently, you can't go alone. You have to be in Cahoots with someone. I've also never been in Cognito. I hear no one recognizes you there. I have, however, been in Sane. They don't have an airport; you have to be driven there. I have made several...

Hello everyone, I have been looking at the Grey Nomad site for quite some time thinking how good it must be to wander around as you all do.... I don't have enough money to buy a van/trailer/etc and as my spare time is devoted to photographing wild birds the thought crossed my mind why don't I buy a tent a...

We currently own a Supreme 2060 and our Tow vehicle is a Disco 3. We are thinking about changing our rig to a Iveco with a slide on so that we may tow the boat and have the convenience of dropping of the slide on and have a vehicle to launch the boat. I was wondering does any body have this type of rig, if you do ,...

G'day. I've just travelled from Adelaide-Darwin-Adelaide and had a great trip. The only jarring note was the Rest Stop just north of Pt Augusta. Don't go there...the drop toilets are full and putrid. Plus there's no water. Who should this be reported to? Council? Health Dept? Who is responsi...

Hi everyone. Thank you for accepting me. My husband and I are keen campers. 2 years ago we took a trip to the out back to Broken Hill. A few weeks before we went we bought our 80's model Coleman Campervan. It's great. We are just waiting to go again this year with it and our new 4x4 we purchased a month ago. A Mi...

I've been looking at small second hand vans (still hunting a for Avan Weekender at the right price) admittedly most are owned by younger people with a growing family, that have what I call a Bunnings fit out, cheap retreads, out of rego, most of the appliances have been replaced with cheap domestic 240...

I spoke to the super guy today and it looks good for me to retire in approx. 2 years. So now the planning can begin, seriously looking next year for a mororhome of some sort. I will start off by using my long service leave of around 10mths then annual leave and retire at the end of that in the middle of 2014. ...

Gday... I listened to an interview this afternoon on ABC Local QLD radio with Jim (? - I missed his surname) QLD President (I think) of the CMCA who are having their Rally at Boonah at the moment. I think some of our members are attending. The gist of the interview was to convey the 'outcomes' from the CM...

Thinking of calling in to Maldon for a spot of family history and cemetery hunting. However, there seems not any/many places to stay. Badgers gives the only CP a thumbs down.
Any suggestions?
