Has any one experienced a groaning noise (maybe transfer case?), when at low speed, down low and mainly when vehicle been running for some time.

We have just driven past this free camp rest area and it seems that true to their word the council is enlarging the rest area. So 'watch this space' and we will report when work is finished. It wouldn't be 'quiet' while the work is happening.
