Advice On Whether You Can Post Pic's on PM's ?????


Does anyone know if you can post pic's on PM's and if so how do you do it please.

In Simple Simon language thanks (ie; please spell it out in detail)...smile

You can attach an image, but only if it has a URL (ie Photobucket etc) not from the hard drive of your computer....

Thanks for the advice Chris, and for the example you sent me via pm, I am on photobucket so will try that.

So how do you post the URL onto a pm then Chris using the symbols shown on a pm???? confuse

(Thanks for your feedback to Jon, Chris knows how to do it so watch this space! )

It would be nice to be able to send photos via PM, but I haven't figured out how to do it unless you make it a clickable link.

Just had a play, sent a PM to Duh with pic displayed in message box, took a couple of goes, however once worked out easy enough, will describe how to do it if your interested.

Although I believe in general that photo's should be posted on the main forum Jon, there is the odd occasion when a member may wish to send one privately to another member that does not concern others or they don't want shown in public.

 Wouldn't it be simpler to just get the persons' E-mail address, and email it to them ?
