Can anyone one tell me what a good roof hatch is for a motorhome/campervan with a fixed roof (ie; not a pop top). Is it best to get one with a fan (12V or 240V ???), a small fixed one or a big one with an opening vent, close for travelling etc? I would want this to act as a means for cooking fumes to escape prefe...

Well, electrics are not my long suit. Thing is I can get a good price on a 200watt 24v mono panel. Question is; if I use this panel do I need a 24v battery coupled with a step down 24v to 12v invertor or can a couple of 12v batteries be wired (how?) to achieve a 12volt output. Or would I be better off to use a 12v...

This is my favourite picture from Mungo - where the sheep waited to be shorn at the Zanci woolshed - you could almost here the sheep bleating in the dusty, sandy yards.

I've spoken about the Gatton-Clifton Road before, but I thought I'd make it a topic. It's a much easier route if you want to come to the eastern side of the range, without using the Pacific Hwy etc. There's also the Esk-Hampton Road, but I haven't been that way for along time, and not with the van, so I ca...
